Mark Powers Ministry holds the following core beliefs:
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ, and is evidenced by the transformation of the soul, producing faith and obedience.
The Bible is the inerrant and infallible Word of God, without error, and is sharper than any two-edged sword. It provides the complete definition of the Gospel and accurately reveals God’s character and will.
There is one eternal Godhead consisting of one Substance — God — and three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created the universe out of the overflow of His love and is intrinsically involved in His creation while remaining separate from it.
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, eternal and equal in essence with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He became fully man by His own free will, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. He seals believers’ salvation and fills them to equip them for sharing the Gospel.
Mankind was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam and Eve’s disobedience. Humanity cannot save itself, so God sent His Son to pay the debt of sin and restore fellowship with God.
